My mic does't seem to be sending any sound into my computer software through the Quantum 2626 when I have a Cloud Lifter on. I've tried various channels and with the +v48 on but no success. Any help is appreciated. It does seem to work without the Cloud Lifter but I've confirmed the Cloud Lifter is functioning properly, so that's not it.

I checked with the Cloudlifter people and they say it draws only 3ma. That should be fine with the 2626 which can supply 8ma. Can you confirm that the phantom in the 2626 powers anything?  You might have a failure.  I assume you have tried with different mic cables?

Thank you for your help figuring this out. Your idea led me down the path that got me the answer. You are correct, in both the 8ma from Quantum and the fact that it should be plenty for the Cloudlifter. Turns out that the Cloudlifter won't draw power from a 1/4" TRS input and will only work with the XLR. Once I took the 1/4 off and used an XLR it all worked! Such a relief. These things can be frustrating. So thank you for your help and now we know another thing we can guide people about it...:-). Peace
