Question

It is difficult to accurately place a marker when the event is several tracks down and you are not zoomed in close.

Other DAW's provide a vertical guideline from the marker to the bottom of the track pane so you can tell where it is going.

As it is now, you have to zoom in vertically and horizontally in order to see where it is going (in relation to the material).
