The best example I can offer is a feature in PowerDirector (the video editing software). In it, you can place a marker on either the timeline or the clip, or 'event' in Studio One lingo.
It would be liberating to be able to mark a location on an event in the arrange window that would stay with the event, regardless of where the event was moved or copied to.
