Please, for the love of all things holy, include an option to disable Midi Notes overlapping/stacking

This can be SO annoying. If I have a bunch of quick notes, and drag a long note on top of them to replace them, that doesn't happen. It just stacks the long note with the short notes and then I wonder why everything sounds terrible.

How is this not an option? Am I unaware of something?! Every other DAW does this

When you posted this question (that actually sounds like a feature request) did you see the "tags" section on the form?

It allows you to add a "feature request" tag which helps the Presonus folks see the things that us users would like to have implemented.

Maybe you can add that tag?

That said, I'm not sure I am able to follow your workflow.

You've got a MIDI track, you press F2 to go into edit mode on it and instead of removing the notes, you draw a new note?

Maybe describe how you would do this in one of the other DAW's that has a better implementation?
