Question

I have a StudioLive 16.4.2 mixer. Sometimes I have gigs with the need for more input channels. I have on the stage a analog stagebox with 16 inputs. In the case I need more I will extend the system with a STudiolove RM24 and go with the main outputs from the RM24 into the stagebox and from there to 2 channels from the studiolive 16.4.2.

So I can extend my inputs. Is this a good plan?

The StudioLive 16.4.2 has no ability to connect to a StudioLive RM or Series III console to make this work.
