Question

The shortcut for "Console>Add Insert" is great, but needs a search bar much like when you press the "+" button on the inserts section to be able to quickly add a filtered insert to current selection.

Totally agree. The browser has the options whereas selecting plugins from the console shortcut is limited

I also agree. The browser and the insert menu that pops up when you click the little "+" in the inserts section both have proper searching/filtering. The Add Insert shortcut is the fastest way to bring this up, but for some reason it is much more limited and you can't fuzzy search. You can only search by the exact first few letters, not any part of a name, and have to type enough letters to get "past" the Presonus FX if you are looking for a 3rd party plugin.
