So I'm not sure what the real issue is here but here is my problem.  Normally I would run my Line 6 POD HD400 into my Audiobox USB and record my guitar or bass from there.  It hasn't always been a homerun kind of set up and required some tweaking but I managed it fairly well since the 1st version of Studio One up until now.  I have migrated through just about all of the versions of Studio One this way and now am on version 5 Artist and just purchased the new Ampire suite.  I decided to really try out the new Ampire software and see what it can/cannot do and I plugged straight into my AudioBox USB (not using the POD HD 400 at all).  Well, no matter what I set my line levels, playback, mix, master volume or anything else on the AudioBox USB, and no matter what I set the actual software at on the track (I've adjusted the input/output levels) the signal comes in super hot (150+db).  I have even had EVERYTHING turned all of the way off, like literally zero signal allowed to come in and yet the signal comes in hot.  The lowest I have managed to get the signal was still peaking at +37db.  And to make things even more fun, the dry guitar signal/sound is way always there...I cannot get the wet (Ampire tones) to really come out.  I'm at a loss here.  I've read the forums, tried things that were close to my issue yet nothing seems to work very well.  The lovely people who make YouTube videos make is seem so effortless and smooth, yet sounds aren't there.  I know it is not the software, but I can't figure this one out.  Oh, and I've already verified all interfaces and computer parts are working with updated drivers and set the same MHz and all of that other mumbojumbo.
