Feature Request: Slice to MIDI

It would be awesome to see a feature similar to the slice to MIDI functions in Ableton with the drum rack and Logic with the EXS24. With Impact it just takes too long to manually chop up the samples, and only 16 pads is very limiting. Sample One can do much more, but It takes even longer to chop up the samples and set note limits for every single one. If there is an easier way to do this someone can correct me, but if not… Presonus should get on this. Im currently using NI Battery for this because I get more pads to use, but it still lacks an auto slice function, so I’m still doing all the slicing manually.

Yes would love to see this too!
I currently use GA4 and you can simply drag back the MIDI pattern to Studio One after you dragged the slices to GA4, which works awesome.

In Studio One the easiest method is to drag an event with bend markers to a MIDI track (like this). This will create notes with the exact length and timing (groove) of the bend markers, but you still have to position the notes to trigger the right sample.

This is an absolutely necessary basic function to save wasted time!
