Got a weird bug happening; my transport controls are randomly not working. I can load the program fine, do editing or anything else and when I hit play or stop the buttons light but the session won't play. Doesn't matter if I use keyboard commands or mouse clicks. Loops won't audition either. I've tried opening and closing the program and it doesn't make a difference. it's a random event but once it happens I have to reboot to get everything working again. Any ideas?

BTW - playback works fine from windows media, Youtube, whatever. Studio One just won't go into play.

Not an answer sadly, but a note on the same thing. On Mac with OSX 10.11.4 and latest version of S1. Same thing. Indicator lights at the bottom light, but no actual transport. Moving the on-screen playback cursor has no effect, playback never begins. No errors on startup, no failures on close. Rebooting fixes, but consumes a lot of time. Have a faderport (which also reflects the right status on the buttons). Plugging/unplugging the faderport has no effect. No other MIDI devices configured or connected.

Same issue here on S1 3.5.2, on a particularly heavy session with 91 tracks but the CPU usage indicate 30%
