I have a Studio 192 audio card, and I use Cubase 10.5 as my favorite DAW.

I would record my guitar both dry and wet, using 2 Cubase input channels, the first one without inserts, the second with a Amp Effect VST insert in another Cubase input channel. Is it possible to record the guitar using mic input n.1, e.g. Mic1 open in Cubase input Bus 1 = Mic1, and route the signal to another channel, e.g. channel 2, in order to input my DAW using a second bus, Bus 2 = Mic2?

Regards,

Renzo

Just create 2 tracks. Both using Mic Input 1. Insert your Vst to one of them only and record both tracks simutanously, muting the dry signal obviously for playback purposes.
