FR: Consolidated Transform Track

Currently in Studio One, if you select "Transform to Rendered Audio" for any track, the DAW creates several different rendered files; one for each clip in the timeline. The problem with this is that sometimes, a simple crossfade is not good enough to put these clips together. The answer would be to consolidate the track and then transform, but bouncing all clips and edits into one clip removes the possibility of going back to your edits without using undo history that is going to be covered up. That makes "Transform to Rendered Audio" insufficient as a replacement for "Freeze Tracks" in other DAWs, as those consolidate the entire track before rendering it, but go backwards as one step.

A more eloquent solution to freezing tracks in S1 would be for the "Transform to Rendered Audio" function to automatically consolidate all clips between the Start and End markers or from bar 1 to the end of the last clip on the track before rendering a section of bounced audio, like other DAWs' freeze tracks functions and normal tape bounces. I think this would make "Transform to Rendered Audio" far more useful for most engineers, and would prevent the need for an extra step or to commit all edits once and for all.

This never got addressed, and I quit trying to use "Transform to Rendered Audio" completely. I use Export Stems to do the same work instead, turning the former into a wasted feature I never waste time on.
