I love the fact that i can freeze plugins to rendered audio and then go back and change to real time audio if i need to make any changes.  The same with instrument tracks and rendered audio.  i would like to take that a step further.  i want to be able to render Busses or a group of stacks to rendered audio so that they show up as one mono or stereo track that holds the information (plugins of individual tracks, automation, event edits etc.) of the multiple tracks that are a part of that folder, bus or group.  That way if i need to make a change to an individual track within that group i can go back and do so.  This would allow me to continuously freeze and shrink my session without worrying about a mistake that i can't correct somewhere along the way.

As an engineer i usually receive sessions where the artists have stacked their vocals to the point i'm dealing with very large track counts.  I think it would help a lot of mixing engineers to be able to freeze tracks worry free.

I like this idea! Freezing folders and buses as a single entity that could be transformed back to discrete tracks would be very helpful. Especially in the case of vocals as you mentioned.
