Hi,

I am a registered user of StudioOne 4. I was wondering if I choose the second option - Activate my purchased version of StudioOne. Would this let me use S5 without Sphere subscription?.

Yes, you can buy and use 5.0 and higher without a subscription to Sphere.  Sphere is a much better deal; however, because with Sphere you get ALL add-ons plus other exclusive content, and when 6.0 comes along you'll get that update too at no additional cost.  If you go the other route, you will have to pay for any add-ons you want, you will not have access to the exclusive features, and you will have to pay for the upgrade to 6.0 if you want the upgrade.
