Presonus Eris 3.5 no right speaker output

I just bought a pair of Eris 3.5 today but I haven't been able to get any sound out of the right speaker with a variety of inputs (aux or pure RCA). As I place the speaker power cable in from right to left speaker I hear a little bit of static but that's it, is there anything additional that needs to be done to get the right speaker to work
