I would like to request a equivalent function to "Clean Up Lanes" in Cubase which allows Cubase to automatically create and rearrange audio takes in to new and appropriate lanes (layers in StudioOne). This is a powerful tool when I have to do a comping of multi-track orchestral takes recorded in other DAW.
For examples, the recording was done in ProTools, and I imported each set of corresponding audio files into linked audio tracks into Cubase, then hit the "move to original," then hit "Clean Up Lanes" and Cubase will create lanes (layers), resolve overlaps, and remove empty lanes automatically and correctly so that I can start comping with no problem.
