Before I updated to 5.4, I could use my Roli Blocks for transport control, although it often didn't remember the assignment so I would have to go and select it every time I started S1. But since the 5.4 update Studio One doesn't respond at all, even with the correct device selected.

In writing the question, the fix occurred to me. I simply had to re-check the "sync to external devices" check-box to get it back again. I am such a dumbass sometimes (and the rest of the time, I'm asleep).
