Question

Studio One 5 frequently freezes on exporting a song.  I've noticed that a message pops up saying that the EastWest Opus vst3 has crashed.
This seems to happen quite a lot (even when not exporting).  Don't know if this a conflict between Studio One and Opus, or whether it is Studio One or Opus at fault.

I have the latest version of both.

Anyone else experiencing this issue and found the solution?

I have recently started using Opus and have found Studio One doesn't like it very much.  I pretty much never had crashes until Opus.

I've also had Studio One crash when closing a Song with Opus.  It brings up the dialog asking if I want to start normally or in safe mode.

Sorry, but I have not spent any time narrowing down the cause or circumstances.

At some point we'll all need to open tickets with EastWest and Presonus to see if they can find a way to work better together.

It's an old thread, so you may have moved on to SO6. But I haven't yet, and I'd just like to confirm that I occasionally have the same problem. And I'm rarely able to close down a project containing the VST3 version without crashing Studio One 5.

The VST2 version of Opus seems to play nicer with the DAW.
