My equipment:

  1. Two Eris E5 Near field monitors
  2. PreSonus Eris Sub 8 Compact Studio Subwoofer
  3. Focusrite Scarlett Solo (3rd Gen) (USB-powered)
  4. 2 TRS cables for each monitor pairing them to the sub-woofer

What Happened?

I have one of the studio monitors (Left) and the sub-woofer plugged into one surge-protected power strip and the other studio monitor (right) plugged into another surge-protected power strip (same kind but different outlet).

I remember powering off the single monitor (right) via the switch on the back and then unplugging the power strip from the wall briefly then replugging the power strip back into the wall. After this the right-side studio monitor would power on (blue power indicator is on) but no sound would come through it. No static or noise even when I turn up the gain knob. I tried using an AUX cable and another device to assess the sound but it didn't work. I also plugged it into a different outlet to test and it powers but still no sound. I have checked the fuse and it is not blown. What could be the issue?

Replace the fuses on the surge protector that doesn't work.
