All available options for mono-export in the mix- or project-page are not helpful for audiobook-work, because they will generate a double-mono-file with two channels. Needed would be true mono, maybe in the mix-master and more important in the project-page: to have a true und complete mono-project would be perfect.

What I've found is that I can generate a mono mixdown WAV file NOT by clicking the oo on the Main bus, but instead clicking the button that says "Stereo" on the Main bus and then changing the Main output from Stereo to Mono.
