I am looking to use the CS18AI with the RM32AI mixer. I want to avoid the need to use separate input layers, is it possible to link multiple of the CS18AI controllers to a single RM32AI and maintain 1 to 1 links between the input channels and studio one?

I don't believe so, but I'll see if I can find out...

This particular combination is not currently supported but in theory it should work.

There are some things you need to do at this time though.  If you are passing audio through AVB you can only put one CS18 on the AVB switch.  The rest will have to go on a regular switch or router.  This ensures the AVB audio consistently goes to the correct unit each time the system is powered on.

Control of Studio One with multiple CS18 has not been tested yet but is something that also seems feasible with the same configuration.

Hope that helps a little.

I like this question. For live concert situations there are 2 configurations that I am interesting in:

A second CS18AI to control monitor sound from the side of the stage while having a CS18AI at FOH at the same time.

A second CS18AI at FOH to have more faders.

I would like to have AVB connectivity on both units, to have full flexibility, like working talkback and music inputs and to solo Mix busses to send to the CS' outputs. This to quickly check the monitor mixes.

Yes it is. I've tried it today but there are a few issues.

1. Do not use AVB network on the second mixer. It will 'steal' your talkback port from the first mixer.

2. If you press solo on your second mixer, it will also set the first mixer on solo. It is also useless, because the headphones won't work if you are not on a AVB connection.

We tried this with 2 RM32AI devices connected.
