After installing Studio One 6 my 3rd party VSTs are showing as missing.  My Studio One 5 works perfectly with all 3rd party plugins though.

I have tried resetting VST settings.  Booting S16 I can see them scanning but for some reason they are still missing in my sessions.

Might they be set to hidden in the plugin manager?

(Open the Browser, select the home icon tab at the top, click Plugin Manager at the bottom.)

Same issue here. Just upgraded from Studio One 4.5 to 6 and my Neural DSP & Harrison plugins do not appear. I've tried  rescanning, moving them to a different location (user library vs common library), re-checking plugin manager. All in vein. They worked fine in 4.5.

The AU versions of the plugins do show, but I want to use the VST version for compatibility with diverse mixing engineers' systems.

Has anything further come of this? Opening any session done before 6 is a nightmare due to the vst plugins not even showing up.

Raising this up - I’m having the same issue. Trying to get the MIDI Guitar 2 VST plug-in to work in Studio One Six, and only the AU plug-ins show up. I’m specifically scanning that folder, but they don’t show up in the plug-in manager. Anyone solve this???

I realise this is an old post, but just in case...
I had a similar problem with Eventide Quadravox not showing (I'm on Windows 10, Studio one 6.5).
The plugin shows in the Plugin manager, but when opening an old project that uses it, the plugin isn't found, and if I try to insert it onto a track, nothing happens. It works normally in e.g. Fl Studio.

I fixed it by removing all references to the plugin from Plugins-en.settings (which on Window is found in C:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\Presonus\Studio One 6\x64\

I believe you need to have S1 closed while doing this. Also, I made a copy of the original .settings file just in case.

Then do a rescan
