This has been really annoying me and is something super simple to fix. I'm a musician so I record, produce, mix and master and I can't count on one hand the number of times I've been recording with takes to layers on as I like to vocal comp, and then a few days later or even the same day, I go onto a production session and then when recording my MIDI's, the takes to layers option is still on because it's not project-based/template setting and it's a global setting! Please make this a project-based setting as it makes more sense for people to want to be able to control this feature with templates/specific song files rather than having it on for everything.
