Hello,

Anyone knows if it's possible to connect additional speakers to the 1824c card and to be able to switch between them in a click of a button?

Owning PreSonus 1824c, the Unversal Control/StudioOne 6 cannot be configured in such a way, at least from my experiments:

In order to switch speakers I need to manually mute the main output and redirect the output to alternate output.

It would a nice feature to add to Studio 1824c / StudioOne, a simple way to switch/toggle the speakers, while mute the other outputs.

I'll be happy to hear your workaround switching speakers (macro/script/etc...)

Thanks alot!

I would also like a speaker selection option on the Listen Bus channel.  Perhaps toggle between 4 different speakers and enable/disable a sub woofer.

Just a quick idea.

Lets say I have 8 analog outputs. That makes 4 stereo pairs.

Assign 1/2 to speakers A
Assign 3/4 to speakers B
Assign 5/6 to speakers C
Assign 7/8 to speakers D

Make sure to switch on the Cue-Mix on all speakers or in my case headphone outputs.

To be able to see the Cue-Mixes in the console you may need to toggle their visibility.

After you have done that you can create a simple Bus and send all your signals to that Bus instead of the master out.

Now you can send the Bus to speakers A and all the other speakers can be feed by cue-mixes from that Bus. Or as in my case, my headphones.

And in the ouput section of the console you can change the outputs and also the low-latency monitoring.

Hope that helps.

All best,
Markus
