So I recently bought this USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C to C cable  off of amazon for use with my Studio 1824c Interface. At first, the device was not showing up in my device list and Universal Control was not detecting it. After fiddling with the cable, it was detected, but after about 20 seconds, it would begin disconnecting and reconnecting itself. Additionally, for the brief windows it was connected, the audio would be extremely distorted and unrecognizable.

I've updated both the drivers and firmware using a USB C to USB A cable of the same length and protocol and yet the aforementioned cable still produces the same results. I've tested the cable on other devices and it works flawlessly. Does anyone have a potential fix for this?

Supplemental info: before this cable, I used a 10ft C to C cable that I think was USB 2.0  and had no issues. I wanted to upgrade to this one so I could have my setup farther away.

If its relevant, my motherboard is an Asus Rog B360-I with 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB type C port. Additionally, the other USB C to A I used was also connected to a USB 3.1 gen2 port.

I've heard that some cables are synch and some data.  Users have had issues with synch cables.
