The custom automation steps for vst parameters are visually shortened, if the length of a lane is shortened, but they still play the whole global lane length! It works fine for the normal s1 parameters like velocity but not for vst automation parameters.
Workaround is to use multiple pattern tracks feeding into the instrument and just use the global pattern length for polymeters…
