I'm not sure what I've done wrong with the setup of my Presonus 68c. I have a Shure microphone connecting to the front via XLR. I've tried both the USB-C and USB-A connections to my Windows 10 laptop. At first, it was treating the 68c as an output, so the levels were fluctuating based on a Youtube video, or system sounds. I went into the Windows sound settings and chose the Input to the laptop as the 68c 1/2 Inst/mic setting. I still get no volume, and the levels don't adjust. I've also tried using the phantom power setting, even though it says this model of Shure doesn't need phantom power. This seems pretty straight forward, but I'm not sure what is wrong. Does anyone have any advice? I've installed the universal controller, as well as Studio One 6 software. Any ideas? Thank you!
