Connect Quantum 2632 to Intel Mac Mini 2018 through Thunderbolt 4 dock/hub?

I have a Quantum 2632 which I have historically connected to my Mac Mini 2018 (Intel processor, Mac OS 10.14 Mojave) directly using an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter. I recently acquired a couple of Thunderbolt 4 hubs (one OWC, one CalDigit) to use alternately with that Mac Mini and my MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon M1 processor, Mac OS 11 Big Sur). Basically, I want to connect my Quantum to the hub and connect my hub to either of my computers, and use the Quantum as the audio interface. Of course I'm only using one of the computers at a time.

The Quantum works perfectly when the connection is MacBook Pro M1 › Thunderbolt 4 hub › Apple Thunderbolt adapter › Quantum.

However, it doesn't show up as an audio interface at all when the connection is Mac Mini Intel › Thunderbolt 4 hub › Apple Thunderbolt adapter › Quantum. As I said, the Quantum works perfectly when the hub isn't there.

Is there any way to get the Quantum to work with my Mac Mini when connected through the Thunderbolt 4 hub?
