Question

Hi<
In Notion 8.6.2 I see in the mixing console that I can update Kontakt instruments to Kontakt 7.8
If I do this I won't get any further, ie. I bought and activated Kontakt 7.8, but nothing happens in the mixing console.
I asked for advice from Native Instruments to solve the problem with upgrade Kontakt 7.8, and they gave me the message below!!!!

It looks like you're still loading Kontakt 6 (simply called "Kontakt") into your DAW, instead of loading Kontakt 7.

Make sure you specifically load the Kontakt 7 plugin.

Please note: Kontakt 7 does not include a VST2 dll plugin component. It is only available as a VST3 plugin. Your DAW must therefore support VST3 plugins.

The VST3 plugin is installed in the following location, which should be added to the plugin manager in your DAW:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

So,... what should I do, and can you give me any advice on this?

ps. I cannot load/sent a print screen with this!!!

 Solution to my question is below:

- First of all, Kontakt 7 is not supported in Notion 6, as Kontakt 7 is VST3 and Notion does not support VST3.

- The button you are referring to is actually at the top of the Kontakt GUI and not in Notion, as Kontakt is not integrated directly into Notion as it is not a PreSonus product.
