I see this has been requested back in 2018, but see it is still not added. Very many times in editing a section of a song file I accidently press the stop button on my control device a 3rd time, and it returns all the way to the beginning of the song file. This is particularly problematic as I work with files that often times have over 5 hours of recorded materials, with 30 plus markers at various places. Abruptly leaping out of the section I was editing back the very beginning is a jarring experience, like knocking over the table of a puzzle you were working on, and typically takes a long recovery time to find exactly where it was I was working, which also shifts mental focus way away from the task at hand. This happens far too frequently for a variety of reasons, as I see other users complain about as well. It seems simple enough to add and on/off checkbox somewhere to turn off this undesirable behavior. I'm sure we would all be more than thrilled to have that option to all of us.
