Aggregate device freezing up Studio One (Other daws work fine) on M1 Sonoma

Years ago, I was able to seamlessly combine my audio interface and my Zoom H1 to an aggregate device on Mac and then select "aggregate device" on Studio one successfully.

Now, it freezes up Studio one every time. When I start Studio One up and it attempts to start up the aggregate device, it says "restart requested by audio device" over and over, and then I get the beach ball once the main console loads.

 Here are things I've done

  • Checked to make sure sample rate is the same on all devices and on studio one
  • I am using Studio One 5 on OS Sonoma with an M1 Mac. To make sure it wasn't a Studio One 5 problem,  I downloaded Studio One 6 demo, and I'm getting the exact same problem. As soon as I select the aggregate device, it freezes up again. It gives me the same message "restart requested by audio device"
  • I am using Audiofuse Rev2 as my audio interface. I have tried everything from that end, switching up as many settings as I possibly could
  • Checked other DAWS - Not only does this aggregate device work perfectly as my main laptop output, but it also works absolutely fine on two other DAWS (I've tested it both on Garageband and Reaper). So the problem seems only to be with Studio One, or the integration of Studio One with my new Macbook.
  • When this freeze happens, I have to force quit Studio One.

I'm having trouble finding anyone with this exact same problem online. Any thoughts?

I have a Macie big knob studio+  and a ********* x18 as an aggregated devices audio interface and it works fine in logic, reaper, reason and cubase.  Studio one crashes when the aggregated device is selected as audio interface. Using Ventura and Studio one v 6.6
