How do I stop S1 3.2 from adding a zero value to my controller changes at the end of a midi part I've just recorded?

Really annoying issue, where I have to manually remove controller events which Studio One automatically adds to the end of a midi part, so the next part doesn't pick up from the previous part. I'm wasting so much time doing this!! For instance, I fade in a string section part for a few bars with controller 7, then upon recording the next part, S1 has added value Zero to the end of the part just recorded. Hence, no sound... Must be a simple fix, but I can't find it....
