Question

It would be really awesome if you guys came up with a region palette dockable window, both for audio and midi. 
Here's how it would work: 
After editing and piecing together a region in a track, the user could drag and drop it to the palette and name it for reusing multiple times throughout the song by dragging it back to one or more tracks as many times as needed, as either standalone or shared copies.

Bonus: 
- User defined palette groups 
- Checkboxes for displaying MIDI, audio or both types of regions in the palette 
- Ability to edit regions inside the palette

The tasks that can be accomplished with the region palette can be done with copy and paste or even using the arrange window, but it's a very interesting workflow choice that would make things easier and I think many users would appreciate it.
