As per logic, when you could adjust the loop bar to be kind of inverted and Skip a Section... Really handy for me as a songwriter

Yes,

In Cubase you can drag a loop section in reverse direction.
Just drag in the timebase bar a loop section from right to left and the color of the section in the timebase bar changes to red (skip) instead of blue (loop).

Agree, not been using S1 for too long, but surprised this feature isn't there as I did go specifically looking for it to make my songwriting simpler.

I also want that. In s1 It could be better implemented by muting sections in the arrange track. So you'd have the option to skip more than one part.

I would prefer the ability to skip a section during playback to experiment, but not sure I would agree the loop feature should invert.  Instead I would prefer to use markers.  So, just like the checkbox for stopping at a section, you could have a skip to checkbox with a dropdown to select the desired marker.

Another must have! Coming from Logic this is a feature that is hard to live with out.

I'm sitting here doing cut-downs for a TV project (my first real ST1 production) and this "skip" is needed when you experiment with your arrangements to fit a specific time span. 59 sec version, 29 sec version etc ...

I use it all the time in Logic to see if a transition will work.
