How to change inputs and outputs for individual tracks from the audio I/O setup

I am trying to re-amp a guitar track that I recorded into an Audient iD14 into Studio One 3 Pro.  However, I am getting feedback which I believe to be stemming from an audio feedback loop.  I was told the problem is that my mic signal is being sent to the same output that I'm using to re-amp.  Therefore, I tried to create a sub-out for the track I want to re-amp.  However, when I alter the output settings it changes them for the whole song instead of the individual track.  Since the individual track output wasn't the only one to change, the feedback loop continues.  I'm sure this is a simple fix and maybe I'm just missing a step somehow.

More info: I'm using an Msi gs72 laptop with Windows 10, an Audient iD14 interface, and a Radial Reamp JCR

Depending on your audio interfaced input and output capabilities, you may first have to set up the inputs and outputs in the Studio One Audio I/O Setup window.

Add Two Audio Tracks. Name them Microphone and Re-Amp.

  1. Disable the main outs and assign the Microphone Track to main outs. This will prevent feedback.
  2. Select the input the Microphone is on for the Microphone Track.
  3. Send your Re-Amp signal to Sub 1. And connect the audio cable from this to your amplifier. Also place the clip on this track

After reamping, set the Main outs back to 1 and 2.

I see they were not much help.  Same here.  they coudlnt help me with this related to headrush reamp either.  I have presonus scrip but considering exploring new daws.  When it comes to this kind of thing their tech support is lacking
