Question

I'm new to midi, but I've watched all the videos, over and over. Set up my yamaha ypg-535 on my Dell PC, i5. The midi filter shows every note I play,so studio one is getting my usb midi signal. I drag an instrument into the window, record automatically enables, but no sound. Of course, I've changed the channels to 1-16, and then to all, and then back again. I've turned record on and off, restarted my computer a dozen times. What am I doing wrong?

It may be that your audio interface is not setup correctly. In your account I see that you're running the Demo of Studio One 3 Pro. 

Make sure you've reviewed setting up your audio interface correctly. You'll need to be using an ASIO interface with your Dell.

If you're using the onboard sound card, this may be part of your issue. 

Consider posting in the Studio One Demo Forum support area instead. The Answers system is not designed for back and forth questions and answers to resolve detailed issues such as this.
