ONE automation lane for a macro control!

If we could automate the new macro controls with one automation, not just for each parameter, it would be also useful beside recording it via macros!

So please let us use just one automation lane for a macro if we want, and for the other users, who need every single automation, the "good" old way.

But it is really helpful, because of the parameter shaper which can modify the values!

oh my god Presonus, you need a vote on this? I can see that it's still not implemented. Why to have a knob, that controls several parameters, that we cannot automate?

I was gobsmacked this didn't work exactly like that when I found out, and am even more so finding out this has been ignored for literal years. Like what? Stuff like this is why S1 doesn't quite catch up to the heavy-weights, at least in the EDM world. The more advanced I get, the more I stumble over stuff like this. Why go through the trouble of implementing this feature sooo far and then stopping right before it becomes actually useful for the real world?

I was about to start building effect racks, for myself and for dishing them out to people getting started. I was going to make a whole Youtube video about one of Studio One's overlooked awesome features, and now this. I'm frustrated. Could we get some more love for the basics, please?
