Question

I attempted to use the Audiobox 1818 VSL with Capture2 (on Windows 7) and it does not seem to be a supported interface for Capture. Why is Capture not able to see any of the Audiobox interfaces just for quick and simple recording? It would be nice for those musicians that want to record but do not wish to be encumbered with a full DAW while in the field. Later, they could export and collaborate, etc. at their leisure without having to deal with all the features of a full DAW.

I know the newer interfaces support iPad recording, but this is not what I am asking about. REcording to laptop via USB from an Audiobox device using Capture. This would be so perfect.
