I would like to use the iTwo USB Audiobox to route the signal of my guitar to an iPad (where I'm using for instance virtual stomp boxes with a transparent virtual guitar amp, or sample I can launch at the appropriate moment), then coming back to my guitar amp that is on stage (currently have a Fender Blues Deluxe with two guitar imputs and a "preamp out" and "power amp in").

I assume I can use the (iTwo) Audiobox as only way of communication with the iPad (sending the guitar signal, then retrieving the modified signal), then sending form the audiobox to a guitar Amp. I tried both going out from the headphone out and the L or R monitor out into the guitar IN plugs of the guitar amp, but I only get a bad sound. What's the reason?

Do I need an additional device to change the impedence (if that's the problem), then which one, or is there a better way to go?

You should use a re-amp device. Contact your local guitar shop for more information.
