I'm recording on my Macbook Pro using Studio One with my Akai MPK 88 keyboard. I recorded several songs with no problem but then my Akai began to not send information. To fix this, I created a new MIDI device that corresponded with my Akai, and I began recording new songs with no problem. When I went back to the songs I had previously recorded, a dialogue window popped up with all the existing instrument parts under the label of "Missing Devices." I'm wondering if there' s any way to set the song to register the new device as the one to respond to, or if I'm just dead in the water and I need to edit the rest of the songs through my computer.

Thank you for your help!

If you used a different External Device on older songs and that External device no longer exists on your system, you may see that error when opening the song.   Close the warning and assign any track inputs that were using the old External Device to the new device and save the song.
