Question

Hello,

I have the DBX 286S micpreamp/processor and I want to connect it with StudioLive AR8 mixer.  

1. Is this possible?

2. Will it I bypass the preamp of the AR8?

3. Which input on the AR8 must be used for an extern preamp/processor?

Well... I suppose you could, although I'm not so sure why, I have one and I'm not too thrilled with it sound wise...If you plug into the line input of channel 1 or 2 you would bypass the mic pre (which is a HELL of a lot better than the project's. Al you can do is try and see what you think...not going to hurt anything to try.
