When I use the "Open an existing document" tab in studio one, I can navigate to the folders where audio files are saved, but when I open the folders they're empty. When i look in the windows file explorer the files are in the correct locations and are saved as Wav files. I've tried using drag and drop to pull the files in but it does nothing. Basically studio one isn't recognizing any audio files that weren't created in studio one.

Open Existing Document is for song files, project files or other supported document file types so it wouldn't list any audio files.

If you're in the Start Page you cannot open audio files directly.   First, create or open a song or project and then if you'd prefer not to drag and drop audio into the song, use menu Song > Import File to import audio files.
