I have recently rebuilt my PC after a motherboard failure. I have installed a compatible PCIe 1394 firewire card with a fully compatible TI chipset and loaded the 1394 legacy firewire driver. When I connect my PC to the board via Universal Control I can control the board, factory reset etc all works fine but I get no audio at all. Smaart tools all silent, youtube wont play, StudioOne wont play back. If I change the PC sound to the rear output Realtek Hi Def Audio the PC will play sound again, Studio One works correctly etc.
The Board is on Firmware 150a build 190 and universal control is 4.2.1.46437 5773. I have tried all of the firewire drivers (TI and the new 1394) and they don't work either.
If I swap to my MacBook using the same firewire cable it all works fine. What have I missed ??
