I which to upgrade my current Artist 3.5 to the Studio One 3 Professional.  I also own Notion 6.  Wish to begin using professional to replace ProTools.  Can I purchase "Studio One 3 Professional Crossgrade from Notion 6" to get what I need or do I need to purchase Professional stand alone or what do you recommend I purchase?

Using a MacBook Pro, running sierra 10.12.5, 16 gigs of RAM

It appears that the cheapest option for you would be to purchase the Crossgrade from Notion 6 to Studio One 3 Professional.  The crossgrade is cheaper than the Artist to Professional upgrade.  Here is a link:
