I have GarageBand on an iPad and Studio One on my PC. I like to use Studio One to create and mix music. However, I really like GarageBand's guitar samples, as they are much more realistic and they play like an actual guitar.

I was curious if there was a way to play a guitar on GarageBand but have it record to Studio One (via a cable or something). Or, let me put it this way, record the audio from the iPad in Studio One. I'm guessing it can be done with a 3.5mm audio cable or something like that but I am not sure.

Thanks in advance!

I use my RM32 with Studio One. I connect my iPad to the mixer with a cable that has a male stereo 3.5mm plug on one end and a male mono XLR plug on the other. Works great. If you are using a computer alone, then the XLR end of the cable will have to match the computers card input. Maybe another 3.5mm end. Should work tho... My Windows computer has a 3.5mm input jack. Just have to set the I/O settings in Studio One / song setup preferences to the built in input of the computer.
