i took most of these suggestions from gearslutz. this is the link https://www.gearslutz.com/board/presonus-studio-one/1148099-studio-one-4-when.html

  • Automation containers (like MIDI clips but for automation only, see FL Studio)
  • Something like Cubase's Play Order Track
  • A proper Solo bus like real mixers. The current Solo is actually "mute everything else". RME TotalMix and Reaper are great examples of how this should be done.
  • Mixer snapshots
  • Better handling of Bézier curve tension (it's a bit twitchy-fiddly at the moment)
  • More comprehensive and customizable smart tool (so clicking different areas of a clip performs different actions)
  • Customizable mouse actions (currently we can only customize keyboard shortcuts)
  • Iron out all the little quirks
  • some kind of "Import Session Data" feature
  • a better file browser like cubase’s. being able to favorite samples would be awesome. also saving search terms would be nice. and being able to categorize samples in some way.
  • Transform to rendered audio for tracks should work for BUS’s. currently it only works for audio tracks and instrument tracks
  • a sampler like cubase’s new sampler track or ableton’s sampler.
  • An update to impact. impact should have way more programmability. I think Impact should be like nerve [made by xfer records]. you can control the ADHSR by dragging points on top of the sample to get the ADHSR just right. Also it has pre-calculated effects which allow you to quickly subtract side audio signal or mid audio signal in addition to re-pitching and pitching up and down audio. It also can subtract or add sine/triangle/square waves from a sample. oh and it should have way more outputs and pads. i’m not sure why it only has 8 stereo outputs and 8 mono outputs and 16 pads. i would want way more pads and at least 16 stereo outputs if not more. but 16 would be enough probably. also the ability move around pads would be great. currently you can switch pads around. i think a really great drum sampler type thing would make it much easier to work with sampled drums. But again i think looking at Xfer Records’s Nerve drum sampler would be great for Impact. It would be one of the best things that happened to Studio One, a great drum sampler plugin.

Hi,

Most everything you listed above is already a feature request here for Studio One here so rather than listing it all again it might be better to just locate those requests and vote them up.

If you have new feature requests for Studio One, things that aren't already in the feature request database here, please keep them to one request per post so that users can vote one thing up or down as opposed to perhaps being torn between wanting some things from a very long list but not some other things.

Best Regards,

IMO. everything you requested is superfluous.  All your requests amount to turning S1 into bloatware.  Too many frivolous requests.

The only thing I want is snapshots of the entire state of the project
