I am looking for a new DAW, since my current choice seems like has no future...
But I have my custom solution for Control Surfaces, with many unusual features (arbitrary/old controllers support over MIDI/OSC/Joystick protocols, accessibility for controller, on the fly reconfiguration, etc.). So my next DAW should allowed me to bind my solution. Effectively I need an API to control the DAW/get current parameter values/etc, on the binary level (so not just scripting, since my program is in C).
Does S1 has such connection point?
I have tried to search, but the only anwer I have found was without any concrete links.
My project is closed source, so the API can be with NDA conditions.
I understand that Presonus marketing own hardware/software controller and so there is not a big chance for a positive answer.
