I'm currently trying to record a keyboard track using Studio One 3. However, when I try and record, I get no sound played back from my keyboard.
I've installed the Universal Controller, therefore I have the driver for the software. I've also set up the keyboard properly as an external device, and I've changed the settings so that the audio is to be played back through the Audiobox, into my headphones.
When I record a track through my microphone, it plays back fine.
Also, when I do try and record a track on my keyboard, the markings on the the display for the track look as if something is being recorded, however when I try to play it back, no sound comes out.
I think the issue is that the software isn't properly recognising my keyboard. I think this because when I open up the MIDI monitor and play my keyboard, it says that no signal is being received.
How can I resolve this?

My keyboard model is a Yamaha NP-11.
My OS is Windows 8.1 (64 bit)
