Hey,

I just purchased an Audiobox 1818VSL today as an upgrade from my Audiobox usb. Now when i open studio one all my other sound stops working. I know this has been asked and solved before by checking the "Release Audio Device in Background." box. Except for me this doesn't work.

To make it worse, Even after closing Studio One 3 i still get no sound. The only way to get my sound back is restarting the computer.

Is there any way to fix this?

Sorry to hear about the recent issues you have been experiencing.

Open Windows Sound Control. Each Playback devices Properties > Advanced Tab has to have the same exact sample rate set as what Studio One is set to.  Once this is set you should be able to play audio outside of Studio One at the same time.

If that does not work, please create a support ticket.

I don't know if you found the solution yet but it's because likely when you open studio one your audiobox is switching the sample rate which will default at 44.1kHz when you restart your computer which is what your computer works at. So the solution is to just switch your audiobox sample rate back to 44.1 after closing studio one and if that doesn't fix it, then after changing it back to 44.1 simply disable your audiobox in your pc 'playback devices' then enable it again and all should be fixed :)
