When i search for kick in the file browser it only searches for files with the name 'kick', but does not check if folders have the name 'kick'. I want studio one to include the files in the folders that also have the name kick on the folder.

More specifically what are you asking to actually search? Just a general “kick” search will bring up any clip, takes, renders, anything in the audio pool, etc. Could result in hundreds of results searching for just “kick” in the folder.

Bump. This seems so obvious. Please, Presonus, sample creators generally don't name their samples with the genre or subcategory, they do that in the folder name. None of that is helpful when the search function only looks at file names.
