1. It is very important for me to have the opportunity to save standard MIDI files (format 1) from my arrangements - with each track in its own MIDI channel. Is this possible? Unfortunately all tracks are on channel 1.

2. Is it possible to have the song name in exported MIDI files as well? Actually the MIDI files ("File / Save as...") don't have a name inside.

3. What is the difference between "Save as .mid" and "Save as .midi"? Please don't tell me that it's only the file name extension...

  1. Studio One does save as Type 1 SMF, each track however uses channel 1.
  2. The only way I know of is selecting all MIDI parts and drag it to the Studio One browser. The Song Name value will be the name of the first selected track (yes, strange... I know).
  3. Sorry, don't know.
